Buy the domain, not a story

SewerLineRescue.com transfers like any other registrar-held .com. The steps below are the ones that keep both sides from guessing. Nothing here is an offer until it is in writing.

  1. 01

    Send a complete note

Email sales@desertrich.comwith your name, company, a number in USD, how you would use the name, and when you can close. A blank “is this available?” is slower than an offer.

  2. 02

    Agree on paper

Price, escrow choice, who pays the escrow fee, and the transfer method. The buyer is responsible for trademark clearance. The seller’s promise is the domain registration, delivered into the buyer’s account.

  3. 03

    Close through escrow

Escrow.comis the preferred neutral party. The buyer funds escrow. The seller starts an auth-code transfer or a push at the current registrar. Funds release after the buyer confirms control — not before.

  4. 04

Point the name where you want

DNS, email, and the website move with the account holder. This marketing site comes down when the transfer completes. Plan your landing page before you flip nameservers so the uniform patch is not the only thing customers see.

What to have ready

  • The legal name that will hold the domain, and the registrar account that will receive it.
  • A price you can fund. Ranges and “make me an offer” replies without a number go to the back of the line.
  • Your own check that the words do not collide with a live trademark in the class you care about.
  • A decision on auth code versus an account push. Pushes are faster when both parties use the same registrar.

What this page will not do

It will not take a credit card, start a lease, or pretend a plumbing company is attached to the hostname. If you need crews on the road tomorrow, buy a book of business from an operator. If you need the name those crews should have had, start here.

Read the category the name was built for:failure signs, trenchless lining, and sewage backups.

Transfer questions

How fast can the name move?

A motivated buyer with an entity, an offer, and an escrow account can often finish in a few business days after terms are written. Registrar locks, auth-code delays, and weekend queues are the usual drag — not the negotiation itself.

Do you require Escrow.com?

Escrow.com is the preferred closer because neither side is paid until the name lands. Another licensed escrow can be proposed in writing. Do not wire the owner directly.

Who pays the escrow fee?

Whatever the written agreement says. Buyers often cover it; splitting is common. Escrow.com publishes its own schedule — this site does not quote their fees.

Will you lease the domain or take payments?

Outright purchase is the offer the owner wants. If you have a different structure, describe it. Nothing is agreed until both sides sign.

Can I see traffic, revenue, or a trademark?

The asset for sale is the domain name. Do not assume a going concern, historical ad revenue, or a registered mark. Do your own clearance and your own appraisal before you offer.
